I spied these out the corner of my eye (literally), crammed into a low bin.
These happened to have the colors and pattern of my upcoming party...blue & pink & polka dots (they had other fun colors as well)! I knew I had to make something out these pretty bows. Then it hit me...a birthday wreath!
This was such a simple project that I managed to squeeze it in amid all the other party craziness I had going on.
I happened to have a painted grapevine wreath that was in my pile of "unfinished projects". I decided to borrow it for this since the color matched so nicely. If I didn't have this on hand, I would have bought a similar one and spray painted it white.
I used a little hot glue to attach each of the bows.
I decided to add a few ribbon curls to for a little extra pizzazz!
Then I painted a letter A which is the birthday girl's initial. I had the letter stashed in the closet from an old decoration I had made. Don't you love reusing items like that??
Some matching ribbon I had previously purchased for the party worked nicely to tie the letter.
And my super fun, super easy birthday wreath was complete!
I love this fun wreath so much, that it might have to hang around my daughter's room for a bit after the party!
