Now that Gator topper was very naughty and did not make it to his intended destination in one piece! After all the time spent on him, it was definitely a heart-breaker! But Nikki was sweet & gracious and told me how delicious the cake tasted and how everyone loved it anyway.
I'm wondering if that topper knew I was married to an FSU Alumni and was just being spiteful ;)
Later Gator!
I would only say I like a Gator cake if YOU made it..this is adorable. Maybe I should have you make me a FSU one :)
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a compliment coming from a Nole like you! Thank you sweetie and I would love to make you an FSU one :)
DeleteIt was naughty...but it had a ways to go and I can't blame it for cracking under the pressure! It was still perfect... we stuck the bow tie on top and called it a day and everyone LOVED it. We're easy going that way about things we can't control! No worries! I'm still booked for August/September, right? :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so incredibly sweet Nikki! I am so excited to make your cake :)
DeleteOh. My. Gosh.! How much would one of those cost? My son's 1st birthday party is going to be Gators themed. Ever since I placed a musical Albert in his hospital bed after he was born he's been hooked!
